Just A Little Afternoon Fun

Brooke has recently discovered Ben's battery 4-wheeler. Which has been put up for several months since Ben got his "gas" 4-wheeler. That's what he calls it. It's a little big for her so Ben being the big brother he is said he would ride her on it. They have had the best time riding together. I can't wait until she is big enough to ride by herself and they can ride along side each other. This may seem crazy to some of you but it brings tears to my eyes as I am typing this. Simply because there was a time we were not sure if Brooke would ever be a functioning toddler. But look at her now. She is a miracle. I truly believe Ben is a big big reason she has done as well as she has. She loves him so much.

Christmas With My Family

Yesterday we finally had Christmas with my family. We were suppose to have had Christmas with my family Saturday before last. But you guessed it I was layed up in the hospital awaiting surgery. By this time we were all tired of the traditional food. We had all had enough. So we had everyone favorite PIZZA!!. Not just your everyday run of the mill pizza but pizza from Tortugas. It is the best deep dish Chicago style pie you could ever imagine. We then opened gifts. The kids as usual had a blast. As I have been posting pictures I noticed I had not done the best job getting pictures this year.
Before I forget I need to give a big thanks to my mom and Chopper. They came and got the kids Friday and brought them back Sunday. That was a heaven send for Tim. I know he is so exhausted. That was a tremendous help for him. ThankYouThankYouThankYou!!!!!!!

Brooke is modeling her new dress. Too funny!!

Ben was totally excited about his new 4-wheeler and motorcycle riding clothes.

Christmas Afternoon

Typically we would go to Tuscaloosa for Christmas with the Arendale's. But this year they came to our house. Thank goodness.. We had the traditional fixings. Thanks Jo Ann and Allison for all the great food. As usual we had a great time visiting with everyone and letting the kids play. We then opened gifts. Which Ben probably ask a trillion times. The kids always get way to much. My most favorite thing that Tim's mom does is a big hodge-podge bag. It always has clothes and other little nic-nacs for the kids. It's the little things that mean the most.

A Few Pics of Christmas Day.......

Christmas was not quite the same for me as years past.  As you have seen in previous post I am layed up with a broken ankle. It was depressing for me not to be able to get in the floor and play & interact with the kids. I pretty much had to take it in from afar. But hey I guess things could be worse.
Mom and Chopper came up Christmas Eve. We had a great steak supper. We tucked the kids in bed and mom and Tim got busy setting up the basement. The kids have a blast as you can tell from the pics. Thanks mom and Chopper for all your help. And Tim for being the best husband and dad ever.

Notice the picture. It's Taylor Swift. Ben is in love with her!!!

Is That Necessary .....

I would not typically post anything of the sort like this about myself. But I thought it was funny. Because I am nothing of the sort. Not a couch potato by no means. So my mom and Tim were setting everything up in the basement for Santa to come. I (as you can see was laying on the couch) was trying to make sure the video camera had enough film space and battery life. This is a picture Tim captured of me and my bum self. It was all I could do plus order them around. Which I have no problem with. I hope everyone enjoys my moment of glory.

Before & After.....

No need for description. I think the pictures speak for themselves.
